Elliot Rodger: More Than A Madman

College Community Shooting

In The Last 33 Years, 70 Of The 71 Mass Murderers In The U.S. All Had 1 Thing In Common

They were all men. Beyond that, most of them felt they were somehow being denied something that they should have been given. That attitude didn’t appear out of thin air. It was honed by our culture, generation after generation, perpetuating bad ideas and stereotypes over time. Elliot Rodger is just the latest permutation of the guy who thinks that he is owed something and demands retribution. Rather than figure out that maybe he might not be communicating with women properly, he blamed their lack of interest on them. (More Inside)

Drone Operators Now Have a “Bug Splat” Staring Them in The Face

A Department of Defense study released earlier this year found that drone operators experience the same levels of stress as combat pilots in manned aircraft. Although they’re separated by thousands of miles from the casualties they cause, the job of a drone pilot still requires whatever internal reckoning it takes to fire at a human target. (More Inside)

Lions, Tigers, and Bears…OH MY

Seattle Times – After the shooting stopped and panic subsided, 50 exotic animals were dead. The owner of the farm that housed the creatures also apparently shot himself to death after unleashing 56 wild animals on Zanesville, a city of 25,000 in central Ohio, perhaps in a final act of spite against neighbors and police. All but one of the dead animals were shot to death. They included 18 rare Bengal tigers, 17 lions, six black bears, two grizzlies, three mountain lions, two wolves and one baboon. At least one animal, described by officials as a large cat, was struck by a car and then shot. The last of the escapees, a monkey believed to carry a potentially lethal herpes virus, apparently was eaten by one of the carnivores, Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said late Wednesday. Six survivors — three leopards, a grizzly and two monkeys — were captured and taken to the Columbus Zoo. Jack Hanna, a television personality and former director of the Columbus Zoo, described the series of events as “like Noah’s Ark wrecking.” Hanna defended Lutz’s decision to kill the animals, but said the deaths of the Bengal tigers were especially tragic. Only about 1,400 of the endangered cats remain in the world, he said. “When I heard 18,” he said, “I was still in disbelief. The most magnificent creature in the entire world, the tiger is.” While animal-rights activists have heaped criticism on Lutz and his department, the sheriff took pains Wednesday, almost 24 hours after the first 911 call, to illustrate the danger of employing nonlethal force. Deputies don’t carry tranquilizer guns, only Tasers, Lutz said. “When you’re dealing with a 300-pound Bengal tiger or you’re dealing with a 200- to 300-pound bear, I don’t think I’m the one who’s going to try a Taser.”

This is just wrong, as a huge animal lover words cant express how fucked up people are sometimes. Death is never good, regardless of animal or human. These are RARE species, and one more step closer to extinction. We need to stop playing god and killing or capturing things that deserve to be wild. I mean didn;t we learn from Sigfreid? But anyways just thought Id pass this story along…

Mad C

You know today wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t post some sort of graffiti post. I mean, this is our lifestyle. We create art and mature as artists. It just sucks that everyone and their moms are against it. I mean look at Mad C, I would commission this any time, any day. I don’t care if they graffiti’ed my sleeping baby. This shit right here is no joke.
